Visiting the Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum

A visit to an authentic Memorial Site is a unique educational experience. Visitors can visit the grounds and most of the buildings of the former Auschwitz I and Auschwitz-II Birkenau camps. Some buildings are excluded from sightseeing (including the so-called reserve blocks, administration, museum sections).

While on the premises of the Museum, one should behave with due seriousness and respect. Visitors are required to dress appropriately for the nature of the place.
